About me
I have been a Marriage Celebrant for five years.
My background is in Community work and more
recently in the Academic world.
My aim in offering my service as a Marriage
Celebrant is to ensure that you get the ceremony
you want - A ceremony which reflects who you are
and what you want to symbolize.
I see my role as offering you a range of alternatives
whilst recognizing that you may already be
absolutely clear what it is that you want.
Your Special Day
There are those who want profound ceremonies
which draw on their cultural and religious
backgrounds but do not necessarily want the
ceremony to be in a church, temple or other
place of worship. Some do however want that and I can cater for that too.
Others want a purely secular ceremony and I have enjoyed helping couples plan these types of ceremonies.
In all aspects the choice is yours.
Relationship is key to you finding the right celebrant
so my suggestion would be lets have contact with
each other in whichever way suits you and see
if you and I relate in a way that you may want to
use me as your celebrant.

Don't forget!
To get married in NZ you must hold a valid marriage licence.
You'll need to fill out a "Notice of Intended Marriage" form which you can obtain from the Department of Internal Affairs (Births, Deaths and Marriages), or download the application form here:
Notice of Intended Marriage.
You need to have arranged your celebrant prior to completing this form.
